This crazy life...

So we are in week 8 of a 24 week plan of training for a marathon.  I should actually be in week 10, but due to weather, children, work, etc... I am in week 8.  I have been working on picking up the speed of my running, trying to go from a 12 min mile to a 10 minute mile.  I can run a 10 minute mile, but for only about 3 miles.  Today I went for a run with my friend's german shepherd.  He assumed that I wanted to run 3 miles at a 10 minute pace.  I really couldn't tell him no...  Hopefully I am ready for the Donut Dash this weekend.  The kids and I are running 2 miles, eating 6 donut holes, then run 2 miles back.  Free t-shirt and donuts!  I hope that it doesn't rain!
